The symposium “The Holocaust in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania” for teachers of history in the Baltic countries took place from 4-5 June, 2015 in Paris.
As part of Jewish Heritage Month in Ontario, the Sarah and Chaim Neuberger Holocaust Education Centre partnered with the Jewish Welcome Service Vienna, Österreichischer Auslandsdienst and UJA’s Community Connect to offer a Jewish heritage experience for 16 young professionals from the Greater Toronto Area from 27 April – 6 May 2015.
The Aladdin project and UNESCO organize the first international conference in Africa on the prevention of genocide, the promotion of a culture of peace and the historical lessons of the Holocaust.
As part of Jewish Heritage Month in Ontario, Canada the Sarah and Chaim Neuberger Holocaust Education Centre partnered with the Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO) to present its 35th Annual Student Symposia on the Holocaust.
From 13 to 16 May, the seminar 'Balkan, Holocaust and Jews' was held in Zagreb and Jasenovac for 45 educators from Croatia, Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
New Dimensions in Testimony is an initiative to record and display testimony in a way that will continue the dialogue with Holocaust survivors for the future.
On 11 May 2015 at the premises of the National Library of Serbia in Belgrade an exhibition entitled "Survival in Sarajevo" dedicated to the Jewish Humanitarian Aid Agency ‘La Benevolencija’ and the activities undertaken by the Agency in Sarajevo, during the war in Bosnia 1992-1995.
From 12-14 May, The Global Forum for Combating Antisemitism (GFCA) is taking place in Jerusalem, attended by IHRA Chair, Szabolcs Takacs.
On 13 May a commemorative ceremony honoring Romani victims will take place at the site of the Lety Memorial.
The exhibition Portraits and Memories - The Jewish Community in Serbia before the Holocaust opened on Sunday 10th May at the former-German pavilion at Staro sajmište, marking Holocaust Remembrance Day in Belgrade.
