An international conference (program) was organized in Berne on 17 June 2013 to introduce a new web portal on Nazi looted art.
This portal is the result of the joint efforts of the Contact Bureau on Looted Art of the Federal Department of Home Affairs, the History Unit of Federal Department of Foreign Affairs, as well as Cantons and museums. It focuses on provenance research, providing museums with useful tools to carry out this research.
The Swiss portal is an additional contribution to the implementation of the Washington Principles on Nazi-Confiscated Art. For more information see: http://www.bak.admin.ch/kulturerbe/04402/04712/index.html?lang=de.
