Opening Ceremony of the Randolph L. Braham Library and Information Center in Budapest

Honoring Professor Emeritus Dr. Randolph Louis Braham, internationally renowned scholar of the Holocaust in Hungary, the Board of Trustees of the Holocaust Memorial Center decided to name its new information center for Randolph L. Braham.

The Randolph L. Braham Library and Information Center (Randolph L. Braham Téka és Információs Központ) was inaugurated by Professor Braham and Professor Szabolcs Szita, the executive director of the Holocaust Memorial Center, on October 11, 2011. On behalf of the President and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Hungary, János Hóvári, Deputy State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, awarded the Order of Merit - Commander Cross to Professor Randolph L. Braham.

The Randolph L. Braham Library and Information Center will contain a reading room with Holocaust literature published in foreign languages, the complete works of Randolph L. Braham (some of them available for purchase), his biography and the bibliography of his publications.  For more information about Dr. Braham, please click here.

The Randolph L. Braham Library and Information Center is open from Tuesday to Sunday, 10:00 - 18:00, and admission is free.
