On 19 January Facing History and the USC Shoah Foundation are offering a webinar on using IWitness in the classroom.
The webinar will allow educators to learn about IWitness, a tool that uses digital technology to bring survivors’ stories into the classroom.
Facing History and USC Shoah Foundation have created three activities that will help students build their digital media skills by participating in learning activities derived from more than 1,500 videos of testimonies from Holocaust survivors and other eyewitnesses.
Join Facing History’s Director of Program Technology Deb Chad and USC Shoah Senior Content Specialist/Trainer Lesly Culp of USC Shoah Foundation – The Institute for Visual History and Education to learn about the new testimony collection and the IWitness educational platform, as well as strategies for using survivor testimony in the classroom. This event will take place at 7 p.m. EST.
