Yom HaShoah Commemorated in Istanbul, Turkey


YomHaShoah was commemorated on 27 April in Istanbul.

The victims of the Holocaust were remembered in a ceremony in Neve Shalom Synagogue Istanbul.  On behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Ertan Tezgor and the Ministry Representative in Istanbul Ambassador Ugur Kenan Ipek, as well as chiefs of foreign missions and officials and members of the Jewish Community of Turkey, were present at the ceremony.

At the ceremony six candles were lit to remember the six million victims of the Holocaust.
