On June 2, Yad Vashem, the Education and Teacher Training Agency of the Republic of Croatia and the Croatian Ministry of Science, Education and Sports signed a memorandum of understanding.
This is a first-ever agreement that outlines the cooperation between the respective sides over the next three years.The memorandum of understanding was signed by Avner Shalev, Chairman of the Directorate and Pjer Simunovic, Croatia's ambassador to the State of Israel.
Approximately 225 Croatian teachers have taken part in professional development seminars at Yad Vashem over the last decade.
