Carleton University Conference “If Not Now, When? Responsibility and Memory After the Holocaust”

22.04.2013

Carleton University’s Zelikovitz Centre for Jewish Studies is hosting “If Not Now When? Responsibility and Memory After the Holocaust,” a public conference in recognition of Canada’s assumption of the Chair of the IHRA.

The purpose of this conference is to bring together Canadian parliamentarians, senior Holocaust studies scholars, survivors and other public figures around the IHRA’s mandate of remembrance, education and research.  It is hoped that this conference will generate further public discourse on the importance of Holocaust education and the preservation of Holocaust memory.

The conference will be held in Ottawa on 24-25 April 2013.  Further information can be found here
