Italy to chair the IHRA in 2018

On 10 November IHRA's 31 member countries accepted Italy's candidacy for the chairmanship of the IHRA in 2018.
Italy, which has been an IHRA member since 1999, will take over the chairmanship from Switzerland. The head of the Italian delegation, Ambassador Sandro De Bernardin, will take on the position of IHRA Chair in 2018.
Italy will organise two IHRA plenary meetings in 2018 in Rome.
