ITF Meetings in Amsterdam

21.06.2011

The ITF is currently holding annual meetings in Amsterdam under the Netherlands Chairmanship.

For four days this week, experts and policy makers from around the world are meeting to discuss the Holocaust as a contemporary political issue.  The unprecedented character of the Holocaust will always hold universal meaning, and ITF member countries pledge to strengthen their efforts to promote education, remembrance and research about the Holocaust.

Today, ITF Chair Ambassador Karel de Beer is meeting with the ITF's working groups to discuss their visions for the future.  At its heart, the purpose of the ITF is to bring political leaders and social leaders together behind the memory and meaning of the Holocaust for the benefit of citizens of ITF member countries and the international public.
