The Anne Frank Center offers a wide range of innovative programs and workshops held in a variety of settings including schools, museums, educational centers and more. Geared towards grade 3-12 and beyond, the workshops and exhibits integrate artistic, literary, historical and/or performance-based components that teach the lessons of Anne Frank in a meaningful and relevant manner for students throughout the United States. The programs range from introductory workshops on Anne Frank and the Holocaust, to in-depth artistic residences and performance that focus on tackling issues of intolerance, bullying and self-esteem. By examining the progression of historical events that result in the tragedies of genocide, slavery, terrorism, and/or hate crimes, the programs encourage students to act as humanitarian leaders in a challenging world.
