In the period from July to October 2013, Croatian educators had the opportunity to attend seminars at Yad Vashem in Israel and Mémorial de la Shoah in Paris.
On June 2, Yad Vashem, the Education and Teacher Training Agency of the Republic of Croatia and the Croatian Ministry of Science, Education and Sports signed a memorandum of understanding.
The 7th Annual Zagreb Jewish Film Festival, focused on the theme “Festival of Tolerance,” took place from 19-25 May 2013.
President of the Republic of Croatia Ivo Josipović awarded The Plaquette of the Republic of Croatia to the Public Institution Jasenovac Memorial Site.
On 12 May 2013 a commemoration event was held at the Jasenovac memorial, at one of the sites where the Ustasha camp was run from 1941 to 1945.

A commemoration was held on Sunday, 17 April at the Jasenovac Memorial Centre as a tribute to the victims of the concentration camp during World War II.
For the fifth year in a row, Zagreb is hosting a film festival from 22 - 28 May 2011. This film festival is unique in the world since it is dedicated to the Holocaust. It is the only film festival that promotes Jewish culture through its film program, screenings, musical events, meetings with world-renowned film directors, producers, and actors.
As a part of the commemoration of Holocaust Remembrance Day on 27 January, an exhibition of children's artwork is displayed in the Education Centre of the Jasenovac Memorial Area and will be open through February 2012.
2012 marks the 67th anniversary of the Jasenovac camp breakout, and the date was commemorated with the opening of a new exhibition entitled "The End of Jasenovac Camp-In Memory of All Surviving and Dead Prisoners."
