Saulius Sužiedėlis is professor emeritus of history at Millersville University in Pennsylvania. Chair of the Lithuanian International Historical Commission’s Section on Nazi Crimes since 2013 and former Director of the Annual Conference on the Holocaust and Genocide at Millersville University (2007-2010), he has published widely on Lithuanian history, the Holocaust in Lithuania, and its reception. Publications include "The Persecution and Mass Murder of Lithuanian Jews during Summer and Fall of 1941" (with Christoph Dieckmann, 2006), “Memories of Blood: Some Aspects of Lithuanian Responses to the Holocaust,” in Jahrbuch fur Antisemitismusforschung 21 (2012), and “Conflicting Memories. The Reception of the Holocaust in Lithuania” (together with Šarūnas Liekis, in Bringing the Dark Past to Light, ed. John-Paul Himka and Joanna Beata Michlic, 2013).
