As a part of the commemoration of the Holocaust Remembrance Day on 27 January, an installation was set up at the Square of the Victims of Fascism in Zagreb.
In the period from July to October 2013, Croatian educators had the opportunity to attend seminars at Yad Vashem in Israel and Mémorial de la Shoah in Paris.
On June 2, Yad Vashem, the Education and Teacher Training Agency of the Republic of Croatia and the Croatian Ministry of Science, Education and Sports signed a memorandum of understanding.

The Shoah Academy is a project of the Jewish Community of Zagreb, focused on ensuring pertinent remembrance, honor and respect for the history and its victims and the education on human rights.
An agreement on cooperation in the field of education, remembrance and research on Holocaust was signed in Paris on 10 October 2012 by Jacques Fredj, director of the Mémorial de la Shoah, Nataša Jovičić, director of the Jasenovac Memorial Site, and Vinko Filipović, director of the Education and Teacher Training Agency.
On 2 August 2012 the Jasenovac Memorial Site and the Ministry of Culture hosted a commemoration ceremony at the Roma and Sinti cemetery in the village of Ustica.
Zagreb will present the 6th annual Jewish Film Festival from 20-26 May 2012.
