The Centre for International Studies and Diplomacy (CISD), SOAS University of London and The Wiener Library for the Study of the Holocaust & Genocide are pleased to invite applications for a half-day research workshop, Exploring the UN War Crimes Commission (UNWCC) archive at the Wiener Library.

On June 8, 2017, Chile’s Interactive Jewish Museum and Nenemi Paxia- Sinergias Educativas A.C., in alliance with Mexico’s Museum of Memory and Tolerance and Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) launched a binational initiative to raise awareness among political figures about the importance of strengthening education on genocide and mass atrocities, particularly the Holocaust, at the Museum of Memory and Tolerance in Mexico City.
2 June, 2017, Vienna - In the context of the EU Framework for National Roma Integration Strategies, the Austrian Federal Ministry of Education and the Austrian Federal Chancellery organized a dialogue-platform on the topic of remembrance of the Roma genocide on 2 June 2017 in Vienna.

According to a Memorandum approved by the Romanian Government on the 25 May, Romania has adopted the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) working definition of antisemitism which was adopted, by consensus, at the IHRA Plenary meeting in Bucharest exactly one year earlier.
The Wiener Library is Britain’s largest archive on the Holocaust and Nazi era and modern genocide. Founded in 1933 in Amsterdam the Library’s holdings span all types of resources, focusing on the Holocaust, its causes and consequences.
