The OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR), in close cooperation with the ITF, is organizing a roundtable discussion on "Exploring the Relationship between Holocaust Education and Education to Combat Antisemitism."
Hosted by the ITF, the meeting will take place in Berlin on 19 November 2012. The discussion will bring together ITF experts as well as experts representing Holocaust memorials, Jewish museums, educational institutions and non-governmental organizations in East and Southeast Europe to explore the relationship between Holocaust education and education to combat antisemitism both conceptually and practically. The focus of the discussion is on the specific challenges and opportunities in East and Southeast Europe, including in OSCE participating States that are not members of the ITF.
The meeting is being organized in the framework of the memorandum of understanding signed by ODIHR and the ITF in Jerusalem in 2010
