Remembering the Holocaust

To commemorate the Holocaust & Heroism Remembrance Day a photographic exhibition titled "Remembering the Holocaust: testimonies of the past, lessons for the future" was held in Buenos Aires from 5 - 19 May.

The exhibition was organized by the Ministry of Human Rights and Cultural Pluralism of the Nation, the UN Argentina and the Holocaust Museum of Buenos Aires and was presented at the Conti Cultural Center, which explains and introduces the objectives of the United Nations Holocaust Outreach Programme.

Claudio Avruj, the Secretary for Human Rights and Cultural Pluralism of the Nation;  Alex Kurland, director of Cultural Center of Memory “Haroldo Conti”; Tamar Hahn, director of the Information Center of the United Nations for Argentina and Uruguay;  and Aida Ender, member of the Generations of the Shoah Organization were present at the openining.
