Publishes in both Czech and German its yearbook: "Theresienstädter Studien und Dokumente (Terezinske studie a dokumenty)"; maintains and develops a database of all Terezin prisoners for sociological, historical and demographic research on Terezin. Data on Czech Jews from the Terezin database was published in the Terezin memorial book in 1995; the memorial book for German Jews in Terezin is forthcoming shortly; the institute supports research projects on the history of the Holocaust in the Czech lands and the role of Terezin in the "final solution," as well as projects aimed at Holocaust popularization and education; educational website; commemorations, eexhibitions
